Queens Sickle Cell Advocacy Network, Inc. and WALK FOR AWARENESS, EDUCATION, AND RESEARCH
ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th, 2009
Starting on 160th Street, the last stop on the E Train, Jamaica Center
between Archer and Liberty Avenues near York College
to Liberty Avenue turning onto Merrick and proceeding
to Roy Wilkins Park for closing ceremonies.
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.
Advance Registration fee: $15.00
Register on morning of Walk-A-Thon: $20.00
What you can do:~Raise as many donations as possible from friends, co-workers and others~Use online Tools at www. qscan.org to make it easy, or contact us~Organize a team of walkers. Contact us for a Team Leader's Kit.~Sponsor a walker with a generous, tax-deductible contribution.~Volunteer your time and talent on the day of the event.~Double your fundraising dollars through a matching gifts program.~Ask your personnel or HR department.~Awareness is your responsibility; get tested, know your rights.If you are unable to walk, you can mail in your contribution.
